A huge joyful blessing that has been in the making for the past couple weeks is that I don’t have to take out ANY loans to pay for school this semester!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 YAY!!!!!
It’s crazy how things work… I was told I recieved an anonymous scholarship for $2000 for this coming semester. It was super exciting and then came the e-mail that didn’t seem (especially at the time) like a good thing… because I had more scholarship money, one of my loans was reduced from LAST semester which meant that in addition to the money I still owed on THIS semester I also needed to pay back $521 on LAST semester too. At first this was overwhelming but God has once again turned it into a blessing because, with a little help from my parents, I didn’t have to take out any loans this semester AND basically payed back money on some of my loans already! Pretty sweet if you ask me! 🙂 God works in mysterious ways becuase if I would have gotten part of this scholarship last semester and wouldn’t have had that $521 THEN, I probably wouldn’t have been able to go to school, but things worked out to where the money came at just the right time. 🙂 God is good.
Today was also a big blessing because people are starting to come back on campus and we got a lot of cool things planned today for the renewal retreat for the RAs that’s tomorrow. It’s a nice transition into the 2nd semester… kind of like jumping on a spring board and climbing over a massive mound of mats… okay so that probably made sense to only about 5 people in the world, but it made me smile especially with the concept of JUMPING for JOY! 🙂
