Joyfullyblessed… To Celebrate LIFE

Today we got to celebrate the beautiful life of Margaret “Peggy” Ann Koch, who, for all practical purposes, my grandmother.  After a battle with cancer, Grandma Peggy is now cancer-free in Heaven with her Savior Jesus. Oh how we can long for the day when we can join her as well.

Here is a poem written by Peggy’s niece that was printed on the back of the funeral bulletin.  I pray that each of you also know to Whom you belong… Jesus Christ!

To Whom She Belongs

by Paula Leedy

There’s a twinkle in her eye
A little mischief in her smile
      A faith so beautifully strong
For she knows to Whom she belongs

Lord we love her so
We don’t want to let her go
But we are comforted to know
         To Whom she belongs

Many blessings have been given
   From her loving servant’s heart
As she obeyed her Father’s calling
To share her gifts and do her part

After a lifetime of serving
   A family so deserving
      We have our precious memories
To remind us of our legacy

For all the fun and laughter
She has given us over the years
We will best honor her memory
With lots of laughter within the tears

Oh, how we will miss her
   And ponder the times
When we’ll once again laugh together
         In God’s glorious paradise

Just imagine her joy
   When she sees the boy
The one she gave her heart to
         She is his “Peggy Sue”

We cherish her words of wisdom
   Gained with grace and dignity
      It’s not really a mystery
         Her life’s a beautiful history

Though her earthly life will end
Her Real life will just begin
With the One to Whom She Belongs

Sweet Peggy Sue, WE LOVE YOU!
