Wow. Can it really be day 31? Sure enough … it is. One month ago I set out on a journey to write… to share my heart… to, prayerfully, share hope. I have absolutely LOVED focusing on such a crucial element of life so intensely for a month straight.
I’m not exactly sure how to wrap up this month long adventure. What do we do with all this hope that we’ve “found” over the last 31 days? Well… I think we give it away. Check out these verses from 2 Corinthians 3:12-18
Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
We experience hope. We cherish hope. We radiate hope.
Because we all need hope.
I hope you enjoyed this journey. I know I did. Thanks for joining me!
Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:24) May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13).
