Go Out in Joy

This morning, I read these words:

For you shall go out in joy,

and be led back in peace;

the mountains and the hills before you

shall burst into song,

and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.  (Isaiah 55:12)

I know I’ve read these words before, but something about the first two lines caught my attention this morning as I wondered, what if these lines are talking about today… everyday?

What if we went out today, everyday… to do whatever that day had in store for us with JOY… maybe we’d return home each night with peace.  Who knows?  But it’s an interesting thought that I am pondering today.
