Theme for the week:
During the week, participants will be taking a look at Jesus’ words in Revelation 21: 5: “Look, I am making everything new!” focusing on a different word or phrase from the verse each day. Being a Christ-follower is more than just going to church. It’s living life with Jesus. Throughout the week, students will be challenged to embrace how Jesus is making everything new in their lives— the good, the bad, and everything in between—and also how he could be using them to do the same in the world around them.
Today’s Schedule:
- Meet at First Trinity at 6:45 a.m. for prayer and send-off.
- Leave church at 7:30 a.m.
- Drive to Wake Forest, NC.
- Team Devotion and spend the night at Hope Lutheran Church
Prayer Ideas:
- Safe Travel
- Relationship building that happens in the vans
- That God would use this time to prepare us for whatever he has planned for us in the week ahead
- Good night’s rest before heading on to Wilmington tomorrow
