31 Days of Anything, Bekah's Heart

A Real Life “Science Experiment” {31 Days of Anything}

I’ve decided to do a “science experiment”
… with my life.

And it’s one in which I hope the rest of my life will be spent proving my hypothesis correct.

What is my hypothesis you ask?

Simply this: God can write a better story with my life than I can!

Okay, so maybe it’s a little more than an “educated guess.” More like flat out truth. Yet, how often do I find myself second guessing it’s validity?!?

Somehow in this somewhat ridiculous mind of mine I find myself believing at times that I know more than the God of Universe… the God who created me, saved me, and sustains me each and every day. I get tricked into believing that somehow I can write a better story with my life than the Author of everything.

Really, Bekah?!?

I’ve tried life that way.
It doesn’t work.
Now it’s time to shift the methods to focus on the other half of the hypothesis and hand the pen over to the TRUE author of my life. Thankfully, I already know the results will be more amazing than I can imagine.

I’ve got proof:

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT)

“God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect.” (Psalms 18:30-32 NLT)

“…Remain in me, and I in you and you will bear much fruit. Apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged consistently and even longer since I focused in on a specific topic. But when I do, I’m always blessed. So, for the next 31 days, join me as I journey through anything and everything God has planned for me with eyes and heart wide open to whatever twists and turns may come my way! Join me for 31 days of ANYTHING!
