Please pray for our MOVE Team of high school students and adults that leave today to go to a CIY MOVE youth gathering in Cleveland, TN.
Theme for the week:
Our theme for the entire week is “This Changes Everything”. We will focus on how the resurrection of Jesus changes everything. The power that flows from this cataclysmic event aligns faith with deeds, establishes justice, unites enemies, speaks blessings, and seeks the lost. At MOVE 2014 will examine the writings of James, the brother of the resurrected Jesus. We will discover that faith begins with the resurrection and see that this truly changes everything!
We hope you’ll consider studying these passages along with us! Thanks again for being a part of this journey.
Today’s Schedule
- Leave church around 7:30 a.m.
- Drive to Benton, TN
- Team Worship
- Spend the night at Outdoor Adventure
Prayer Ideas:
- Safe Travel
- Relationship building that happens in the van
- That God would use this time to prepare us for whatever he has planned for us in the week ahead
- Students will have a chance to “Be a Blessing” this week. They be given $15 at the start of the trip to use at any point this week to serve one or more people along the way; ask God to open their eyes to people they could bless in any way this week.
